In n Out Animal Style Burgers – Whole30 and Paleo friendly. Here’s a Whole30 remake of the infamous burgers from In n Out. A definite crowd pleaser!
I’ve talked about this before, but every time someone visits me in L.A. the first thing we’re most likely doing is going to In n Out. I won’t object because your girl loves her burgers and fries. Plus, it’s inexpensive and if you’re doing the Whole30, you can eat there too!
Seriously, you really can. Before we talk about this In n Out Animal Style Burgers remake, let’s talk about what to order if you find yourself at one and you’re doing the Whole30 or have dietary issues like yours truly.
Most likely when you go to In n Out, it’s going to be chaotic, especially the one next to LAX. Don’t go to that one. There’s one about a couple miles away from the airport that isn’t as crazy. Anyway, memorize this so when they take your order you’re not left figuring out what’s compliant or not and you’re not holding up the line.
Here’s what I always get: double-double protein style (this means two burger patties), no cheese, mustard fried, grilled onions, and extra tomatoes (because veggies). If grilled onions aren’t your thing, you can do sliced onions or even both!
Downside of this order is that you can’t have their infamous animal style sauce, pickles, or chili peppers because they most likely have sugar in it. The sauce definitely does, but I’m not sure about the pickles and chili peppers. Better safe than sorry. If you’re not doing the Whole30, definitely get it animal style with extra pickles and chili peppers. Trust me.
Obviously, I had to remake the burger with all of the fixings. One thing I love about In n Out is how simple it is, but it’s so delicious. So trust me when I say these burgers are super easy to make and they’re perfect for any night of the week!
You can even save yourself some time and use frozen burger patties. What I typically do is let the burger patties thaw, flatten them so they’re a bit thinner, season, and then fry the burgers. While the burgers are cooking all you have to do is prepare the rest of the ingredients and then BOOM! …dinner in less than 30 minutes.
