If you’re doing the Whole30, you’ve probably heard of Whole30 emergency snacks from time to time (re: all the time). People tend to get confused when the word “snack” comes up because the program does not recommend snacking during the 30 days. What the Whole30 program is referring to is mindlessly snacking on the couch while watching TV or mindlessly snacking when you’re stress.
When Whole30 emergency snacks are up brought, we’re talking compliant protein bars or a mini meal (protein & fat or protein & carbs) stashed away in your purse just in case you’re stuck in traffic and won’t be home for another hour or so (L.A. problems). These snacks are called emergency snacks because it’s for those times where the hangry is kicking in, and it’s not close to a meal time just yet or you can’t eat your meal right away. I keep emergency snacks ALL over the place. I have snacks in my purse, gym bag, travel bag, glove compartment of my car, and when I worked in an office, I had a drawer dedicated to just Whole30 emergency snacks.
I’ve been asked a bunch of times to share my favorite Whole30 emergency snacks, so here is a list of my favorites that I always keep on deck (even if I’m not doing a Whole30 round). Just click on the images to purchase any of the products!
